Changing Your Password in Webmail

For users who are required to change password at next log on

1. Open Web Browser

2. Go to webmail.ucc.edu

3. Log on as you usually do ie. username (or CWID for students)

You will use your existing password at this point. 
(Students: If you do not have a password or have not setup a password, you can obtain your password by going to CWID Passwords.)

4. You will then be prompted to change your password with the following screen.

Enter required information.

a) Account – campus\username (for students: campus\cwid).

b) Old password – This is the password you just used to get to this point

c) New password – Type new password which must follow the new Complex rules.

Your password must be 8 or more characters and
contain 3 out of 4 of the following criteria:

• At least one uppercase character
• At least one lowercase character
• At least one numeric character
• At least one special character (e.g. / ? ! >)

d) Confirm new password – Type new password in again

5. Click Ok.

6. Click on "Back to https://webmail.ucc.edu:443/exchange/"

7. Login again with CWID and new password.
