The Paramedic Program is offered yearly beginning in September and concluding in June. The optimal timeline begins the January prior to the fall that you are looking to begin the program. There have been students that have deviated from this timeline and succeeded at the program.

Apply for hospital sponsorship the January prior to fall semester.  Below is a proposed timeline for admission into the paramedic program:

January-February prepare your portfolio for assessment during the sponsorship interview.

• Copy EMT and CPR cards
• Request a raised seal transcript from the college that you completed 9 credits of coursework.
• Complete any unfilled pre-requisites

March-April

• Attend interviews

April 15

• Sponsored students names are submitted to paramedic director by hospital sponsors.

May

• Attend UCC orientation

June – August

• Complete assignments from orientation
• Register and Pay for fall semester July 1  **some variations may apply
