WELCOME TO THE UNION COUNTY COLLEGE BIOLOGY DEPARTMENT!
As Chairman of the Biology Department, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our WEBpage. The Biology Department at Union County College is composed of sixteen faculty members and six support staff members. All of the members of ourDepartment are pledged to providing you with the highest quality education that is possible.
Our Faculty members are enthusiastic about Biology and want to help you learn to share their excitment about the rapidly and ever changing world of Biology. The Biology Department Faculty are all pledged to assisting you and helping you to achieve your degree and to prepare you for your future. Our Faculty members are excellent teachers in the classroom and are available outside of the classroom for additional help if you need it. Many of the graduates of our program return after graduating to thank us for helping them to achieve their lifetime goals. We want to help you reach your goal too!
The Biology Department has a total of six laboratories that are located on our three campuses. Each of these labs has all of the possible equipment and instrumentation that an undergraduate Biology student needs in order to get an excellent education. We are very proud of our laboratories and feel that they are of the highest quality possible. If you have the opportunity to visit our campus, I would like to personally invite you to see our labs for yourself. I am sure that you will agree with us, that our facilities are top notch. In conclusion, I would like to encourage you to begin your biological studies here at Union County College. Graduates of our Biology program have outstanding success with the undergraduate education that received here. Many of our graduates have gone on to become doctors, dentists, research scientists, teachers,......and the list goes on and on.
