   Academics - What's New
Information about what´s new in the department of Economics, Government, and History

The Following are two new programs that have been added to our department´s offerings:

Certificate in Public Policy

Issues of war, peace, and terrorism, have profoundly touched the lives of all Americans. Students are provided with an intellectual foundation upon which they can start to build their understanding of these and other issues. This comprehensive certificate offers the student a solid foundation in politics and history accompanied by the study of related areas. Students can incrementally begin earning an Associates degree in Liberal Studies or one of the other Associate degree programs and may start to prepare for careers in government service, law or teaching. For holders of a certificate in Public Policy, the Federal Government provides entry level
employment.
