Course Repeats:

College policy requires permission of the Department before you may register for a third attempt at a particular course. This applies to F's and W's. No third attempts will be allowed for any mathematics course unless the student involved successfully completes the prerequisite for that course immediately before the third attempt. No fourth attempts will be permitted except in extremely unusual circumstances. In the case of Mat 011 a third attempt will be allowed at the discretion of the Developmental Coordinator and the student's previous instructor.

Late Withdrawals:

The Mathematics Department, as general policy, does not authorize late withdrawals.

Final Exams:

Final exams are required of all students in all Mathematics courses (except Mat 125 and Mat 148); there are no exemptions from finals. The Final exam must be given at the scheduled time and place. Students in Mat 125 are required to write a four page research paper or to complete some other relevant research project in place of a final examination.
