  • Trinitas School of Nursing is a Cooperative Nursing Program with Union County College granting a Diploma in Nursing and an Associate in Science degree.

  • The program is fully accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, Inc., 61 Broadway, 33rd Floor, New York, NY 10006, telephone (800) 669-1656, and the New Jersey State Board of Nursing, 124 Halsey St., Newark, NJ 07102, telephone (973) 504-6430.  Complaints may be sent to either organization.

  • For the past 18 years, 36 graduating classes, 97 % of the graduates passed the NCLEX on first writing with 100 % passage rate for eight of the 18 years.

  • 97 % of graduates were employed as Registered Nurses within six months of graduation.
  • 92 % of employers consistently rated average to superior satisfaction with graduates.
  • Academic advisement and learning resources are available to all students.
  • Clinical Nursing Faculty members at the School of Nursing have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Nursing, along with extensive experience in both nursing education and clinical practice.  The majority of the clinical nursing faculty is certified in their area of expertise and many are licensed for advanced practice.

  • The scores by senior nursing students on national standardized testing examinations met or exceeded established norms for Diploma Programs and for those who had passed the NCLEX exam.

  • Tuition and fees for the complete generic RN program are $25,800 (in-county rates for UCC courses) and for the nursing curriculum in the LPN to RN program $18,000.

  • Financial Aid is available through Union County College.  Nursing scholarships are available through the School of Nursing.  In the 2007-2008 academic year, over 42% of the students were awarded more than $4 million dollars in grants, scholarships, and loans.

  • Day students may begin classes/clinical at 8:00 AM and end at approximately 2:00 PM.  Evening students start at 5:30 PM and end at approximately 11:00 PM.

  • Through the Student Government Association, students participate in committees that influence decisions concerning the School of Nursing
