   Academics - Summer Session

Union County College offers Summer Session classes scheduled in the morning, afternoon and evening at Cranford, Elizabeth, Plainfield, and Scotch Plains.

Summer Session may be attended by Union County College students and students from other institutions who wish to earn additional credits. Students attending other institutions who wish to enroll in Summer Session courses should check with their own institution about the transfer acceptance of the course(s) they wish to take.  When possible, transfer students should have a Visiting Student Request from their Institution to facilitate the admission process.

The summer schedule and registration form are available in December and may be obtained upon request from the Office of Admissions, Counseling, or Recruitment.  Summer session courses are of variable lengths from as few as three to as long as fifteen weeks.  With a few exceptions, there are no Friday or Saturday classes scheduled during the summer.
