The Conference Center at Union County College offers an ideal location to host your event. With spacious rooms, cutting edge technology, fine dining, and excellent service and support, the Center is perfect for:

The Conference Center at Union County College also includes offices for many of Union County’s economic development partners, hosts industry training, supports economic and workforce development initiatives, and is home to Union County College's Industry-Business Institute. The Industry-Business Institute offers a wide range of services to local employers, including customized training for employees, access to training grant funding, and assistance in finding candidates to fill job openings.

Location

Union County College’s Elizabeth I. Kellogg Building is a spacious 132,000 square foot, cutting edge facility conveniently located in the heart of the City of Elizabeth. Easy access to two New Jersey Transit train stations provides quick access to New York City and to Philadelphia, Amtrak service, and local transit buses for travel within Elizabeth. The facility is located minutes away from Newark Liberty International Airport and approximately 40 minutes by train from New York City.

Technology

Union County College’s Kellogg Building was designed and built from the ground up with advanced technology in mind. All rooms in the Dr. Thomas H. Brown Center provide you with:

  • Fast, reliable Internet service
  • Wireless capability
  • A state-of-the-art multimedia presentation system, offering large screen images for all types of media, write-on touch screen, and integrated sound.
  • Ability to use your own laptops or our integrated PCs equipped with up-to-date software including popular programs like PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • On-site technical support

The building features a 10 Gigabit Ethernet, CAT 6 infrastructure throughout its five floors. All network services, media services, and Internet access are delivered by this unified system. The entire building is, wireless enabled.

The Kellogg Building is directly connected to Union County College’s own fiber optic network for high bandwidth access to the World Wide Web and all its resources for teaching and collaboration. Webinars and media streaming can be easily accommodated.

In addition, the Kellogg Building represents a sophisticated level of commitment to technology assisted instruction. Every classroom and conference area features a multimedia presentation system. Whether you’re using video, optical media, computer software, or the Internet, large screen images are available to your class or audience. A document presentation camera allows print materials to be viewed. Each system has a unique write-on touch screen which allows the user to highlight important information. An integrated sound system assures your every word will be heard.

Food Service

We understand how important food and beverage service is to the success of your event.

Corporate Chefs, the on-site catering service, will customize the perfect menu for your event. Each menu is carefully and meticulously presented. All efforts are made to source locally using the freshest available ingredients.

Vegetarian, diet conscious and healthy choice options are available. Corporate Chefs brings its decades of food service experience to the table, for a simple buffet or a more elaborate sit-down luncheon or dinner. Themed, regional, or ethnic menus are suggested ways to highlight a special presentation.

Menu options can range from continental breakfasts, hot or cold buffets, sit-down meals, assorted sandwiches, or boxed lunches to go. Or you can choose a full-day meeting package that includes a breakfast buffet, hot lunch buffet, and both morning and afternoon beverages and refreshments.
