A one-semester introductory course for non-Biology majors covering the basics of life science including scientific method, origin of life, the cell, energy processes, genetics, evolution, and other topics which can be applied to everyday living. 3 lecture and 3 laboratory hours per week. 4 credit hours.

Testing Information:

Students meet on the Cranford campus for one three-hour long lab each week of the semester. Four exams will be given on the Cranford campus. Exam dates will be announced at the start of the semester. Written assignments are submitted online.

Students must have an access code to the Prentice Hall website. The access code comes free with new copies of the textbook or it can be purchased separately.
