  The study of the development of children from pre-birth to early adolescence, with an emphasis on the childhood years.  Topics to be studied include intelligence, cognition, language, social relations, attachment, physical/emotional development, selfhood, and genetic/environmental contributions.  Prerequisite: PSY 101; PSY 102
Recommended.  3 credit hours.

Testing Information:
  Syllabus will be provided towards the beginning of class.  There will be chapter quizzes as well as exams.  Additionally, there will be homework assignments and papers.
