  This course is designed to introduce the student to medical terminology utilized in the healthcare industry in English as well as some spanish. The approach utilized will create an easy to use application of rules with word parts, rather than mere memorization.  The objective is to give the student a comfort zone with recognizing roots, prefixes and suffixes and their combination of word forms utilized in the medical profession.  The mode of course material distribution assignments and quizzes will be delivered through the internet on WebCt, the Final Exam is given at the Muhlenberg Campus.
