The Union County College Libraries now subscribes to Ebrary-Community College, which has some 18,000 full text E-books, covering a wide variety of academic subjects*. Please click here for full text access to the books.
Ebrary books may be viewed using later versions of Internet Explorer or Firefox. Ebrary Reader software is required in order to use all the features of Ebrary.
People using UCC desktop computers (computer lab users, students, faculty, and staff) must use Firefox 2 in order to be able to install the reader.
Individuals using their own personal laptops on-campus should be able to use Firefox 2 or Internet Explorer to install the reader. Details for loading the reader using Firefox 3 are available on the ebrary "Download/Install" webpage. To get the required ebrary Reader, click on this link. ebrary provides instructions on downloading and installing the reader, and these instructions should be read before any installation is attempted. After reading the instructions, click on the "Download ebrary Reader for Windows now" link at the top of the ebrary "Download/Install" webpage. Off campus access is now available, using your UCC campus login.
Most of our Ebrary titles have been added to the UCC Online Library Catalog. You may go directly to an Ebrary book by looking it up in our catalog.
