July 8, 2008: Two Lady Owls Sign NLI.

Two members of the UCC women’s basketball team have signed National Letters of Intent for the upcoming season. Allukeshia Guy has signed to play basketball for Saint Paul’s College in Lawrenceville, VA and Dorian Jackson will be playing for Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ. Both ladies have played for 2 years with UCC, contributing to their back to back GSAC and Region XIX Championship wins. During the 2007-2008 season both women received awards at the conference and region level. Allukeshia was awarded 2^nd Team All Region, 2^nd Team All Conference, and UCC Female Athlete of the Year at the National Girls and Women in Sports Day Ceremony. Dorian was awarded 2^nd team All Region and 1^st Team All Conference. Both women have also put up impressive stats in their 2 years with UCC. Allukeshia contributed 623 points, 607 rebounds, 163 steals, and 82 assists, while Dorian had 677 points, 434 rebounds, and 90 steals.
