Academic Advising

Academic Advising provides students with assistance in registration, choice of major and general orientation to college life.  Faculty advisors (depending upon major) and/or counselors assist students with academic/career redirection and assistance with academic difficulties.

Faculty Advising Program

The Faculty Advising Program is coordinated by Counseling Services.  The purpose of the program is to match students with a faculty member to serve as their advisor.  The student meets with the faculty advisor to schedule appropriate classes for registration as well as to discuss transfer and career plans.
