The purpose of the Student Government is to promote group activities to further the educational, social, and physical welfare of the students at Union County College through social, recreational, and cultural activities, to act as an intermediary for the student body in dealings with the College administration, and to participate in the governance of Union County College.

The Student Government meetings are open to all members of the student body.  All organizations and activities sponsored by the Student Government are open to all full-time and part-time students.  A valid student ID card may be required for admission to college functions and activities.
