If you are a student who has access to the Internet and AOL´s (American On Line) Instant Messenger feature, you can access an expanded list of student services right from your PC.
To Activate AOL© Instant Messenger
- Open your Internet browser.
- In the address line at the top of the page, type http://www.aol.com/aim and hit [Enter].
- Click on the "New Users Click Here" link on the left.
- Type a screen name in the space provided.
- Type a password in the space provided.
- When prompted, retype your password to confirm it.
- Type your e-mail address.
- On the next screen, complete steps 1 and 2.
- When you are finished, the AOL Instant Messenger icon should appear on your screen.
- You should receive confirmation of your registry by e-mail.
