Welcome New & Returning Volunteers

Objectives: 

1. encourage and facilitate student participation in volunteer activities, providing students the opportunity to pursue their community interests;
2. assist in existing volunteer endeavors; and
3. foster positive community relations.

Opportunities:

• Tutor local children
• Spend time with sick children
• Assist the elderly
• Help the homeless & poor
• Assist animal organizations
• Help with UCC events
• Participate in fund-raisers & walkathons
• Plan & host special events
• Much more!

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Commitment to helping others
• Reliability, people are counting on you
• Willingness to learn, training is sometimes needed
• Flexibility, schedules may vary
• Attend monthly meetings
• Participate in volunteer activities & provide verification
• Professional, polite behavior
