Union County College, Cranford NJ, with funding from the New Jersey Department of Education is pleased to announce Phase II of the Educational Interpreter Professional Development Center (EIPDC). The EIPDC is located at the Plainfield Campus.
The EIPDC serves a target audience of interpreters who are currently employed in school systems or would like to become educational interpreters, (please refer to the objectives page), in the counties of Warren, Sussex, Passaic, Morris, Union, Hudson, Bergen, Essex, Somerset, Hunterdon and Middlesex. The EIPDC will continue to support educational interpreters in meeting the "Educational Interpreter" certification requirements established by the New Jersey State Board of Education as specified in N.J.A.C. 6A:9-13.18.
