Charita Green worked tirelessly as a member of the Hurricane Sandy Recovery Team. Beginning on Thurs., Nov. 1, at Elizabeth’s Kellogg Building, and through the following week in Plainfield, she helped out wherever and however she was needed. Her tasks ranged from assisting with employee payroll to contacting faculty to make sure the weekend classes in Elizabeth and Plainfield were covered. A 22-year veteran of the College, Ms. Green began as a part-time employee for Continuing Education and is now the Executive Assistant for Student Services Vice President Dr. Ralph. Ford. She has been married for 23 years to William Jr. and has two sons: William (a Fairleigh Dickinson University student) and Reggie (who is going to the University of Pittsburgh in the Fall).
