Enrollment Services Director Beatriz Rodriguez worked 12-hour days, from Nov. 1 through Nov. 6, to assist with the Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts. One of her chief responsibilities was to help make arrangements for moving Cranford classes to Elizabeth on Nov. 5 and 6. Ms. Rodriguez is an alumna of Union County College, having graduated with an associate in Applied Science in Computer Science. She began as a peer tutor for the Academic Learning Center, then as a paraprofessional and head tutor. As an employee, she worked as a recruiter and assistant director before earning promotion to director. After Union, she earned a bachelor’s of Science in International Business and Trade from St. Peter’s University and a master’s degree in Management from Thomas Edison State College.
