Ron Szotak

Coach Ron Szotak grew up in Union NJ and graduated from Union High School.

He began playing beach volleyball at the age of 15 and volunteered with the Union High School Women's Volleyball on and off from 1990 to 2000. He attended Southern Vermont College, Union County College, Montclair State University, and Walden University. Coach Szotak successfully competed, winning conference championships as well as regional championships on various teams at the intercollegiate level with 3 out of 4 of these schools. He successfully coached volleyball at Cranford High School from 2001 to 2007 before moving to Union County College as an Assistant Coach. Ron has been part of the coaching staff here at UCC ever since, where the Owls Volleyball team has won 2 conference championships in the past 3 years with Coach Szotak as well. He looks forward to this coming season for the Owls!
