  • Eleven thousand nine hundred and sixty-nine (11,969) students enrolled in the Fall semester of 2013, of whom forty-eight percent (5,713) were full-time and fifty-two percent (6,256) were part-time students.

  • Sixty-two percent (7,390) of the students enrolled in Fall 2013 were females and thirty-eight percent (4,559) were males. Forty percent (1,818) of males and twenty-five percent (1,868) of the female population were 18 to 20 years old.

  •  Of the 11,969 students enrolled at UCC during Fall 2013, 97.5% (11,675) were from New Jersey, and approximately 81% (9,710) resided in Union County.

 
  • The ethnic profile of the Fall 2013 class was the following: thirty-two percent (3,864) Hispanic; twenty-six percent Black, non- Hispanic (3,113); twenty-one percent (2,477) White, non-Hispanic; three percent (362) non-resident alien; two percent (290) were two or more races; one percent (84) Asian; and nearly 0.5% (52) were Native American and Pacific islander (52).

  • During the Fall 2013 semester over twenty-two percent (2,662) of the students enrolled were Business and Accounting majors. Another twenty-one percent (2,493) of the students elected their major from Cooperative and Joint programs and another ninteen percent (2,321) chose their major from Liberal Arts/ Liberal Studies programs.
  • In 2013, there was an increase in matriculated students by approximately 11.5% or 1,183 students.
