Paying For College

Union County College is committed to providing a quality education at an affordable price. If you think that you can’t afford Union County College, think again. The Financial Aid and Student Accounts departments are here to serve you and help you find a way to afford the education you deserve.

Effective Fall 2013 -
Union County College students registered for 12 - 18 credits will be charged a flat rate for each semester (reference Tuition, Fees and Books for more detail).  Union County College Financial Aid Office recommends that students take advantage of the new tuition rate and register for more than 12 credits per semester.  Students who register for more than 12 credits per semester increase their chances of graduating within a two (2) year time frame and reduce their overall educational cost.

The application process for financial aid is simple, but may require multiple steps. The first step is always to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can complete your FAFSA online at
www.fafsa.gov. If you have already completed your FAFSA for this year, simply add our school code (002643) to your FAFSA so that we will receive it. Click here to see what your next steps are.
