New Student Orientation (NSO)

New Student Orientation (NSO) is required for all first-time, full-time students entering the college during the Fall or Spring semester after completing the college placement test or submitting your high school transcript or SAT scores.

Students have the option to choose to attend New Student Orientation (NSO)  “Online” or “In-Person”.  Students are encouraged to attend “In-Person” to learn the most about Union County College.

At New Student Orientation (NSO) students will learn how to use web services, set up college email, navigate the Owls Nest, and register for their courses.
Part time students are encouraged, but not required, to attend New Student Orientation (NSO).

If you are interested in attending New Student Orientation (NSO)  “In-Person”:

Sessions are offered on both the Cranford and Elizabeth campuses:

Sessions on the Cranford campus are offered in room L-105.

Sessions on the Elizabeth campus are offered in the Student Services Center on the first floor of the Kellogg building.

We also have a select few New Student Orientations (NSO)s offered on our Union County College Rahway Center at 1591 Irving St., Rahway, NJ.  Parking is available behind the building.  Please look for the dates of those sessions on the link below.
