Discover a Career in Graphics Arts!

If you are thinking about any job in the graphics art field, now is the time to get practical experience and start building your portfolio. Learning to use professional-grade graphics design software before you graduate can give you an advantage when applying for jobs.

The Continuing Education department offers classes to teach you to use industry-standard software to compliment your current knowledge and help you gain the skills you need for your next job.

Classes Offered Include:
 Quark Xpress
 Illustrator
 InDesign
 Photoshop (Basic & Advanced)
 Preparing Design for Press
 Printing & Graphics Arts Industry Overview
 Mac OS X
 Design Principles
 Fireworks
 Dreamweaver
 Flash
You can also elect to get a non-credit certificate in Graphics Art Print Specialty or Graphics Arts Web Specialty. In these classes, you will work on individual projects to help build your own portfolio. Classes will be taught by practicing graphics arts professionals.
Classes start soon so register now! One of the first classes, Printing and Graphics Arts Industry Overview will run Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 9:00 pm starting on January 29th.
