Youth Programs



The college's Youth Programs division offers programs for youth ages 11 to 17 years and this summer we're offering a number of new classes including sports camps. Both academic and leisure enrichment classes are offered, including reading and math enhancement, app development, science, art, guitar, financial management skills, classes with Black Rocket and Mad Science, and more. SAT & NJ Ask Test Prep
The College also offers comprehensive and affordable test prep classes for the SAT and NJ Ask exams. All instructors are highly qualified and most are NJ-certified teachers. Don't wait until it's too late to start preparing for these important exams.
Summer College for Teens - FREE program by the Freeholders
The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders sponsors a FREE three-week summer program for Union County high school students (entering grades 9 - 12 by September) which runs July - August. This program exposes students to careers in growing industries and will give them an opportunity to learn and also have fun. The career areas for this summer are:

  • Healthcare
  • CPR/First Aid
  • Criminal Justice
  • Forensic Science
  • Financial Markets
  • Ethics
Students have daily math and leadership workshops as well as a recreational activity such as art, sports, or jewelry design. Application deadline and the downloadable application form can be downloaded here.
