Donate “85” Today to Commemorate the College’s Anniversary

On October 16, 2018, Union County College observed Founders’ Day to commemorate the decades of providing an affordable, accessible, and excellent education to Union County residents. Established in 1933, Union was one of six New Jersey community colleges with the mission to provide jobs for unemployed teachers and professors.

Today Union has three campuses and almost 20,000 credit, non-credit, and continuing education students. Accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the College offers more than 60 programs that lead to associate degrees and certificates.

To celebrate our growth over the past 85 years, the Union County College Foundation launched a challenge to raise money for student scholarships. Commemorate our 85 years and donate -$850, $85 or $20.85 – for any amount you choose, be sure to include the “85.”
