Looking for a new career – Train to start a career in the Supply Chain Industry!

CRANFORD – The Center for Economic and Workforce Development is offering the Fundamentals of Supply Chain Management course this semester for those interested in starting a new career in the supply chain industry. Employment opportunities exist in various facets such as (but not limited to): Human Resources Coordinator, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Assistant Warehouse Manager, Customer Service Representative, Import Coordinator, Export Coordinator, Logistician, etc.

The Fundamentals of Supply Chain Management program provides you with the fundamentals of the transportation, logistics and distribution (TLD) industry sector. Learn about warehousing, transportation and customer service operations, supply management and procurement, demand planning, manufacturing and service operations, and inventory management. This program provides the entry level student with the knowledge to obtain an entry level job in the industry or an experienced individual with other industry experience the opportunity to apply their former work experience with a layer of new industry credentials to the TLD industry sector.

Students who complete the program and pass their certification exams will receive SCPro Fundamentals certificates in Supply Chain Management Principles, Inventory Management, Transportation Operations, Customer Service Operations, from the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. This class will be both in-person and virtual (hybrid) Monday – Thursday from 8:30 am – 2:00 pm.
