Foundation to Host 30th Annual Golf Outing

CRANFORD – With the return of in-person events, the Union County College Foundation is excited to host its Annual Golf Outing on April 25, 2022 at Fiddler’s Elbow in Bedminster. This will be the 30th Golf Outing for the Foundation, and there are currently over one hundred golfers registered to participate.

The golf outing is a vital source of funding for the College’s Foundation. Each year the Union County College Foundation is called upon to meet the ever-growing needs of Union College students. This past year alone, the Foundation provided over $1 million in direct scholarship and grant aid to students in need. The Foundation’s food insecurity program also supports the College’s food pantry and meal voucher program.

“It is because of this golf outing that the Foundation is able to be provide the resources needed to ensure that a student’s economic reality is not a roadblock to their academic success. Our College’s Foundation is the safety net of support to some of our communities’ most vulnerable students,” said Doug Rouse, Foundation Executive Director.
