Prepare to Work In Real Estate Sales in New Jersey

CRANFORD – According to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, more than 50,000 job openings for real estate brokers and sales agents are expected annually over the next decade. UCNJ UCNJ UCNJ of UCNJ County, NJ will be offering a course to prepare individuals to take the New Jersey sales/licensing exam to become a licensed real estate agent in the state. Consider the real estate market if you are looking to change careers or are seeking additional income.

This 75-hour course at meets the Real Estate Commission requirements for the N.J. sales licensing exam. If you are new to this field, you must meet the requirements for the state examination and you must work as a sales associate within one-year of completing the course and passing the exam. Topics include property interests, mortgages, deeds, title closing, liens, real estate law and ethics, agency relationships, and real estate calculations. The class will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning March 20th through June 14th from 6:30 – 9:30 pm. This course is a hybrid program with in-person sessions being held at UCNJ’s Scotch Plains Campus. The fee for the course is $525 and the textbook is included in this cost.
