Student Government Association

The Student Government Association (SGA) is the voice of every student at Union County College and is devoted to advocating for those issues that will enhance the educational, social, and career development of Union students. SGA is committed to being a source of information, guidance, and service to students. The Student Government Association is open and receptive to the individual, ethnic and cultural interests of Union County College students.

SGA affects all levels of student participation at the college. There are eight elected members to SGA, which are elected annually from the student body.

In addition to conveying student attitudes and sentiments to the faculty, staff, and administration; the Student Government Association is responsible for recommending the allocation of student activity fees, shaping policies affecting student life, coordinating extracurricular activities, and chartering new clubs and organizations.
