Carol Biederstadt is an instructor at the Institute for Intensive English in the English/Fine Arts/Modern Languages Department of Union County College. Biederstadt began working at Union County College in 2007 after returning from Japan, where she lived and taught for many years. Carol loves being a part of the multi-cultural atmosphere of the IIE and teaches mainly advanced levels of English as a Second Language (ESL) and freshman composition courses. Biederstadt especially enjoys guiding students through the research process and always attempts to instill in her students a passion for the written word. She has master’s degrees in Education and Japanese Studies.
