Dr. William Rohrer is a Senior Professor of Biology & Allied Health Technology. He has enjoyed a wide variety of research and academic experiences in the field of biology. His publications include papers on the ecology and behavior of mosquitoes, the pharmacology of parasitic worms, and the neuroanatomy and neurophysiology of both rodents and primates. He is pleased to continue his work in the field of biology as a professor at Union, stating “I maintain an interest in all of these research areas and hope to convey this enthusiasm to my students.” Dr. Rohrer recently co-chaired the College’s committee to provide a Periodic Review Report to the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Dr. Rohrer received his bachelor’s degree from Depauw University and his master’s degree and Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame.
