Assistant Professor of Practical Nursing Michele Cislo has earned praise from students for her upbeat attitude and professionalism. Her teaching focuses on medical-surgical nursing as well as pediatrics. She says, “I always learn something from my students. This makes every day at Union County College different and exciting. It is a joy to witness the students as they evolve into professional nurses, coming from diverse and unique backgrounds.” Last year, Prof. Cislo earned a Nurse Recognition Award from the New Jersey League for Nursing. She has a bachelor of science in Nursing from William Paterson University and a master’s degree in Nursing from New York University.
