New Student Orientation (NSO) is required for all first-time, full-time students entering Union County College during the Fall or Spring semester. Part time students are encouraged, but not required, to attend New Student Orientation (NSO). Sessions are offered on the Cranford, Elizabeth and Plainfield campuses. At New Student Orientation (NSO) students will meet faculty and staff from their areas of study, learn about the College, how to use web services, set up their college email, navigate the Owls Nest, and create a schedule of classes.
In order to attend, students must have one of the following items:
1.Completed the college placement exam (Accuplacer)
2. Submitted their high school transcript
3. Submitted their SAT scores (530 in Math and 540 in Reading)
