How do I download the Flourish app?
You can visit https://www.myflourish.ai/ucc to download Flourish for free from the App Store or Google Play.
Is the Flourish app free?
As a UCNJ Flourish Campus Partner, all students, faculty and eligible staff have free access to Flourish Plus.
How is the app customized for UCNJ?
Flourish has already integrated UCNJ’s resources and services directly into the app. Students can receive timely, personalized recommendations from Sunnie AI that connect them with the right campus support at the right moment. There is also a UCNJ-specific community inside the app where you can ask for advice, share your day or connect with other Owls.
Does Flourish replace therapy?
No. Flourish does not replace professional counseling and therapy services. Instead, it complements them by providing proactive everyday support, offering tools and tips for daily well-being and productivity and delivering just-in-time insights and science-backed actions when students need them most.
Is my data confidential?
Yes. Flourish is a confidential resource. The app developer (Flourish Science) does not share any identifiable information—or your conversations with Sunnie—with us. The only exception is in cases of imminent risk of harm, where legally required disclosures may apply. The app developer does not collect medical records and never sells personal data.
