Academics at Union County College

Division of Social Sciences, Business & History

We believe that students in the 21st century benefit from a thorough grounding in the studies of human social interaction and diversity, as well as a knowledge of the trade of goods, services and ideas, all understood with an appropriate historical perspective.  In humanity’s timeline, we must understand how innovative paths have been forged, how today’s global age is taking shape and the ways in which we can make a meaningful impact.  In the pursuit of such life-long learning, our division offers this opportunity through the study of the social sciences, business and history. Our division offers a variety of courses in many learning platforms: face-to-face, blended and online. We encourage you to take classes with our highly educated, diverse and extremely dedicated full-time and part-time faculty members.
