Visiting Students


Welcome to Union County College. The seven steps outlined below are the recommended sequence of enrollment.

1. Submit Application

Welcome to Union County College’s admissions process. Click the button below to start your application.

Begin Application

You must select Visiting Student (NM.VISIT) as your program major. Please note, when creating your account to complete your online application you may not use another college’s email address. Your application may take a few days to be processed.

2. Create your College Account

  • Check the email account that you provided in your application for instructions, username, and password

3. Register for Classes

  • Steps before registration
    • It is the student’s responsibility to ensure credits taken at Union County College will transfer back to their home institution
    • Check academic calendar for registration dates
    • Plan your classes in Web Services
  • Plan how you will pay for your tuition and fees
  • Steps at registration
    • Log in and register
    • Review and print your class schedule from your College account
  • Steps after registration
    • Check your college email and the college website often for class cancellations
    • Schedule changes
      • You can add classes until the last day of registration
      • You will not be charged for classes dropped prior to the start of the semester
      • Classes dropped after the start of the semester are subject to the College’s refund policy

4. Pay for your Classes

  • Payment plan. (Available for Fall and Spring Semesters Only). Students must visit the Office of Student Accounts to make the initial payment and to sign a promissory note to participate in the plan
  • Log in to your College account and check your balance
  • Tuition and Fees
  • Purchase a parking permit

5. Obtain your Student ID

Bring a copy of your class schedule and a picture ID

  • Cranford – College Life, Room C-104
  • Elizabeth – Student Services Center, Room K-111
  • Plainfield – Student Services Area, Room P-104

6. Buy your Textbooks and Supplies

7. Go to your First Class

  • Refer to your class schedule
