2021 Notice of Board Meetings

In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act of the State of New Jersey, and based upon recently promulgated protocols necessitated by the ongoing health emergency caused by COVID-19, the Board of Trustees and Board of Governors of Union County College, Cranford, New Jersey, announce the following meeting schedule for 2021 keeping in mind that given the ongoing health emergency, the Boards reserve the right to revert to a totally virtual meeting format on the dates and times specified below. Should the meeting revert to a totally virtual format, such notice will be provided at least 48 hours in advance on the College’s website as noted below the dates:

Tuesday, January 26, 2021, joint meeting of the Board of Trustees and Board of Governors, followed by a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees, Elizabeth Campus, Kellogg Building, Room K-517, 40 W. Jersey Street, Elizabeth, NJ, 7:00pm

THE JANUARY MEETING WILL BE BY VIRTUAL MEANS ONLY WITH NO PHYSICAL MEETING LOCATION. Members of the public may attend or participate by telephone or the Webex link via the information immediately below. Members of the public may also offer public comment by emailing Secretary of the Boards Jaime Segal at jaime.segal@ucc.edu by 12pm on the day of the meeting as specified above. Comments received by email will be read into the record during the section of the Meeting designated for Public Comment. All comments must include the public member’s full name.

Please note that these meetings of a public body will have limited in-person attendance, with only a small number of Board members and College staff attending in person with the remainder participating virtually, due to safety concerns related to COVID-19 and physical space limitations. Members of the public wishing to attend or offer public comment may do so by the following means:

• Attend in person on the dates and times and at the location noted above. Members of the public attending in person must check in at the Public Safety desk at the main entrance of the Kellogg Building. Members of the public planning to attend in-person should check the College’s website (link below) within 48 hours of the meeting for the most updated meeting information.
• Attend virtually either by phone or via the Webex link on the dates and times noted above. The virtual meeting information will be posted at least 48 hours in advance on the College’s website: www.ucc.edu/discover-union/trusteesandgovernors/board-meeting-schedule/. If you are unable to visit this web address, you may also call the Secretary of the Boards at 908-709-7501 or email jaime.segal@ucc.edu for the participation information.
• Provide public comment by emailing Secretary of the Boards Jaime Segal at jaime.segal@ucc.edu by 12pm on the day of the meeting as specified above.
