Step 1. Setup your VPN and Remote Desktop

IMPORTANT! You must prepare your office computer for Remote Desktop from on campus before being to be able to access it remotely

Step 2. Forward your Office Phone Calls.

You can forward calls several ways. One is to manually enter the settings into your office phone. Another is to forward your calls from within the Webex app settings. A third is to access it from within the Self-Care Portal Site.

Via Office Phone:
This must be done while on campus. Select your line and press “Forward all” on your on-screen display. Next, enter the number you want to forward to starting with “91”. (For example “91-555-555-5555”). For more info:

Via Webex: VPN required for performing this from off-campus
Under “Settings ->Calling”. You can add and save the number you want to forward to. (This number will automatically save with the “91” prefix added, which is necessary for forwarding calls outside the college). Whenever you wish to forward your phone all you have to do is to change the “Do Not Forward Calls” dropdown selection to the phone number you’ve added. For more info:

Via Self-Care Portal: VPN required for performing this from off-campus
Navigate to the Self Care Portal url and update settings under “Phones->Call Forwarding.” Full instructions along with the Self Care Portal url provided in the below guide.
