Student Printing with PaperCut Release Stations

Introduction

There is a two-stage process for printing at Union College. All print jobs will be printed to a printer called ‘FindMe’. The print job can then be released at a designated printer release station in one of two ways:

  1. Logging into the PC at the release station
  2. Scanning the QR code and releasing the print job with your mobile device

Step 1 – Printing 

To print your content, choose the ‘FindMe’ printer option for your print destination.

Step 2 – Releasing 

Releasing from your Smart Phone

At each release station there is a QR code that you can scan with your phone. It brings you to a webpage specific to that print station. This is an example of what to scan:

At each release station there will be a computer where you can release your print jobs from. First login with your student login name and password:

Releasing from a college desktop computer

Find your job and select print: 

Click the log out button when you are done:

Account management

While on campus, or from a VDI desktop, you can manage your printing account from https://printing.ucc.edu. Login with your college username and password. Here you can check your print jobs or add funds to your printing balance.
