The mission of the Educational Opportunity Fund Program (EOF) at Union County College is to provide academic, financial, and personal support to students from financially and educationally disadvantaged communities/families who exhibit potential for academic success. The purpose is to successfully transfer students to four-year institutions, as well as provide students enrolled in certificate, diploma and degree career programs a high level of preparation and readiness for the workforce. Through the coordinated efforts of the College community, the EOF program strives to provide program services that consist of: advisement, career and academic planning, tutoring, supplemental instruction, leadership development, and mentoring. The EOF program also collaborates and interacts with other campus offices and community agencies to provide additional resources to support EOF student success.
