EOF Applications

EOF Summer 2020 Application

This application is for first-time full-time college students looking to participate in an EOF 2020 Summer Program Session. Incoming students looking to enhance their academic skills in English and/or Math, meet and engage with fellow EOF scholars, while receiving an orientation to college skills and services, should participate in an EOF Summer Program Session. Students who participate in an EOF Summer Program Session receive priority consideration for available EOF academic year funding.

2020-21 EOF Academic Year Application

This application is for returning students, first time college students who did not participate in the summer program and students who are transferring to Union County College, who are looking to join EOF in the Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 Semester can complete the 2020-21 EOF Academic Year Application. Academic year applicants can submit required documentation now, but will be considered based on available space in the program after Summer Program participant enrollment.

Required Documentation and Submission


All EOF Applicants can securely submit their documentation to verify eligibility, by using the Union County College EOF Program’s secure Mapping Xpress link and utilizing the passcode “EOF1968”

The required documentation to be submitted via Mapping Xpress are:


  1. Source(s) of Income for 2018 and 2017 of Parent and/or Student 
    • The following are acceptable sources of income
      • 2018 and 2017 1040 tax return (signed copy)
      • Official IRS Tax Return Transcript for tax year 2018 and 2017
      • If income was not reported for 2018 and/or 2017, parent and /or student may be required to submit any of the following:
          • Yearly benefits total for 2018 and 2017 (i.e. SSI, Welfare, Disability, Unemployment, etc.)
          • Proof of non-filing of 2018 and 2017 Tax Return from IRS
            • See steps above for ordering a tax return transcript

     2.  2020-21 Student Aid Report (SAR)

    • Can be printed from www.fafsa.gov approximately 2-3 days after submission of FAFSA

     3. Minimum one-page Personal Statement on the following topic:  

“Describe a significant challenge you have faced and the steps you took to address it.”

     4. Unofficial high school transcript

     5. Copy of most recent Report Card or marking period grades


Important Notes…

  • Space is limited. Applicants will not be considered until submission of all requested documents.
  • Upon submission of all requested documents, your application will be reviewed by a committee for interview consideration.
  • If selected for an interview, you will be called or emailed for an interview with an EOF Advisor.
